Sepia for balancing a womens’ hormones and helping PMT naturally

I am just on Day 3 of my period, and realising how busy I have been this month. I knew I had been pushing the river and had a feeling my hormones were trying to tell me something.

The week leading up to period was pretty rough. I felt like I was swimming through treacle, and feeling increasingly further removed from myself, my life and my family. I had this feeling of being trapped and wanting to escape, to be free from the day to day routine.

It was like this wild part of me was emerging, a part that wanted to move and dance and run… run away.

I felt like my family were some strange creatures from a different world and we didn’t speak the same language. All I wanted to do was get away from them ! My womb was aching. It was like I had been hit by a bus and I literally couldn’t do anything. Time to stop.

Sepia 30C was the magic remedy that helped me through my Pre-menstrual state this month. It is one of the most common homeopathic remedies for women’s health, and one that many women will know. But it’s effectiveness and power still astounded me this month.

After a few doses of Sepia 30C I started to feel better quickly, and the very next day my period came.

By this afternoon I was really enjoying it.  The harshness of the first few days was replaced by an earthy sensuality and a sense of feeling like there is nowhere I need to go and nothing I need to do. The kitchen can be messy for an afternoon, the washing can be left undone. I love that feeling of surrender I get with my period when I let myself literally go with the flow !

Made from the ink of the highly intelligent cuttlefish, the homeopathic remedy Sepia is useful for so many things. From digestion, headaches, PMT, energy levels, irritability, low libido, menopause and its also a uterine tonic.

This afternoon, I sat in silence for about 10 minutes crossed legged on the floor of my bedroom with my eyes closed. The utter deliciousness of that stillness is what my soul was thirsty for.

The nourishment that one gets from the “nothingness” the “emptiness” is one that cannot be gained from anything else. The messages that come through my period when I stop to listen are so infinitely wise.

I love how homeopathic remedies bring me back to centre, allow me to connect with my body and follow its wisdom so that I can get back on track again.

Homeopathic remedies are very successful at helping balance hormones and helping bring a women’s menstrual cycle into a healthy rhythm. If my story sounds like you, Sepia might be the remedy you need. But there are many other remedies that can help your menstrual cycle along, and along with some simple dietary changes can make a great difference to the state of your cycle.

I would love to hear from you if you have any questions about how homeopathy can help your hormones and menstrual cycle. I offer a free 30 minute clarity call to answer any questions you might have about how homeopathy can help you.
